Matt Welborne
Matt Welborn is originally from Doncaster. He graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2008 with a Degree in Outdoor Studies, this is where Matt found his love for the mountains and has since become an experienced mountaineer whilst taking an interest in the Greater Ranges.
Matt has been very fortunate to have travelled around the world to countries such as Thailand, Singapore, Norway, Sweden and Mainland Europe including the Alps. He is currently an working as an Outdoor Instructor and is an active outdoor enthusiast with a side interest for cars and track days. Matt will be taking on the challenge of Base Camp Manager as well as being responsible for the trekkers wellbeing throughout their journey. His main aim will be ensuring Base Camp is secure whilst the climbers are on route, watching progress and keeping up morale when times are tough!
