I’ve been spending some time over the last few days flicking through photos and so on, picking out the good ones and of course ditching the bad ones. I’ve looked at the picture below quite a few times, but tonight I remembered something special about this shot. If you look closely enough, towards the lower center of the image you may be able to pick out a small dash of orange. Yes these are our tents at Basecamp.
This isn’t by chance honestly, I do remember deliberately taking this shot. I remember standing there on this mountainside at the peak of our acclimitisation climb on the way to basecamp thinking – Woah – that’s basecamp and it’s really tiny!
